What does this mean for a student?
Trying Lumen is free – the demo and a real trial workspace cost nothing and need no card. If you decide to stay on Premium, your maximum exposure is €19 a month, full stop. Token-heavy actions – polishing a transcript, auto-coding interviews – cost a few cents each, only when you choose to run them. There is no per-seat charge and no compulsory institutional fee: it is priced for one researcher, paying for one doctorate.
If a programme would rather fund it centrally, that is possible too. Institutional licences are quoted per programme against your real cohort size – no list price, no seat minimum. Lumen for doctoral programmes.
